Panchayat is about an Engineering graduate, Mr. Abhishek Tripathi, who had to opt for the job of a Panchayat Secretary in a remote village as he was unable to get any other better job. How he manages to survive in the village with his ambitions lying elsewhere makes the plot.
The narration is often hilariously funny which makes it one of the most enjoyable recent watches. The lifestyle, innocence and naiveness of the villagers, and the realities of the remote villages are shown with lots of comedy element in it. “Chakke Wali Kursi” and “Computer nahi Monitor” are two of the most humorous episodes.
Panchayat is a beautiful tale, with well written on screen characters. Strongly recommended if you love to have some genuine laugh !!
